To visit Oakwood Estates from Orlando (approx. 50 miles) take I-4 West to Hwy 27. Go South on 27 to 540 West, which is also Cypress Gardens Blvd.  Follow 540 until it intersects with Hwy 17.  Turn left on 17.  At the second stop light, turn right on Hwy 540.  At the second stop light, turn left onto Spirit Lake Road.  Go approximately 1 mile and you will see Oakwood Estates on the right.
